Taipei: As we are closing to the launch of HTC’s flagship phablet HTC One Max, new report reveals the device specs.
HTC is expected to announce its first phablet HTC One Max in coming days, The handset’s final specs have reportedly been confirmed.
When it was clear that HTC had a hit on its hands with the HTC One, rumors of both a smaller and larger variant of the device started making their way online. The HTC One Mini made its debut soon after Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S4 Mini, signaling that HTC had Samsung in its sights and was ready to go head to head with the smartphone maker.
As more and more details began to leak about Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 during the summer, so did information pertaining to the HTC One Max. Just as HTC challenged Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4 with its own flagship, the HTC One, the company was preparing for another round with Samsung in the phablet market.
Samsung just released the Galaxy Note 3 and HTC is about to do the same with the HTC One Max. The phablet’s final specs sheet has leaked in its entirety. According to the document, the HTC One Max will feature a 5.9-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD display, will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and will be the first HTC smartphone to run an updated version of HTC Sense 5.5. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM to keep things running smooth.
HTC will reportedly ship the One Max with three storage options, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB and also include a microSD expansion slot to increase its usable storage. It will have dual front-facing stereo speakers with Beats Audio and HTC Boom Sound. Its wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE (low energy), GPS, and NFC. Just like the iPhone 5s, the HTC One Max will ship with a fingerprint scanner on board, which will be located on the back of the smartphone below its UltraPixel camera. The phablet will use a large, non-removable 3,200 mAh battery.
