KARACHI: Second eyewitness has identified Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) affiliated Kazim Abbas Rizvi, the alleged killer of Advocate Naimat Ali Randhawa, during an identification parade at the in the Judicial Magistrate Court in Karachi on Thursday.
The accused was identified by the second eyewitness whose details became undisclosed due to security purpose by the officials of law enforcement agency.
Eyewitness told the court that he was standing beside a fruit stall when the incident occurred, suddenly two persons on motorbike opened gunfire on a car.
Earlier on October 5, first eyewitness identified Kazim Abbas Rizvi among 10 other persons as the killer of Advocate Naimat Ali Randhawa during an identification parade at the Judicial Magistrate Court.
While on October 2, The ATC gave the accused person to Rangers and police on physical remand of 14 days till October 18. Rizvi will be presented to the court again after Eid-ul-Adha 2013 event.
Advocate Naimat Ali Randhawa was a senior lawyer and the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)’s legal wing leader. He was pursuing for a journalist, Wali Khan Babar, killing case but shot dead in an attack by miscreants in Karachi’s Nazimabad area while his son was injured.
A journalist linked with a Pakistani private television channel, Wali Khan Baber, was killed in January 2011 in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area while several witnesses were also stamped out individually in different incidents.
