New York: Windows Phone giant Nokia plans to launch more than one device at its October 22 Abu Dhabi event including its first ever phablet Nokia Lumia 1520.
The trend setter Samsung have already launched its third generation phablet Samsung Galaxy Note 3 while HTC is gearing up to introduce its highly anticipated phablet HTC One Max.
As we all know Nokia is new to phablet market but according to reports Nokia is planning to introduce such type of device which will compete against Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One Max.
Nokia Lumia 1520 have been popped up online several times and some rumors indicates its features so we can guess that Nokia is up for the challenge or not.
The 6 inch phablet is leaked in yellow and red colors.
Currently, the Lumia 625 is the biggest Windows Phone 8 smartphone around and the launch of a bigger device will be welcomed in the highly-competitive phablet market.
Not much is known about the Lumia 1520 but some rumors suggest that the handset will feature a powerful Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20-megapixel primary camera. The Lumia 1520 is expected to have a price tag of $699 outright.
The phablet market is getting very competitive when compared to 2012. Only a handful of smartphone manufacturers made handsets with a display size of over 5-inch in 2012 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was the unquestionable market leader in 2012.
Nokia has not confirmed any details of the Lumia 1520 so we will have to wait until the company makes an official announcement.
