ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government is likely to appoint Kamran Shafi as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, sources revealed on Thursday.
“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken the decision to appoint Shafi as High Commissioner to the UK”, the sources said.
Shafi is renowned columnist and a former military officer.
Earlier, reports said that Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani would be appointed as the country’s ambassador to the US.
