ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, on Tuesday submitted the details of his assets to the Election Commission of Pakistan today after passing due date as per announcement by ECP till October 5.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has demanded more time to submit the details of his asset as statement issued from PM House.
At least 148 newly elected parliamentarians haven’t submitted their assets’ details which required under the Constitution of Pakistan in accordance ECP could annulled their parliamentary membership.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had ordered all elected parliamentarians to summit details of their asset in time on October 5.
Following the orders of ECP, the Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif submitted his asset details today while the particulars were not disclosed before media.
