LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) belonged federal minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique, has warned the government with his resignation over expected privatisation of the Pakistan Railways.
Pakistan Railways’ minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said that there is no need to privatize Pakistan Railways as the decision would require when the department went into losses.
He warned the federal government over privatising of Pakistan Railways.
“Privatisation has been made then we have to accept for our unsuccessfulness in maintaining the department”, railway minister said.
He said Pakistan railway is a profitable department and government can earn from trains sector but previous governments’ had made the wrong decision in past as it handed over the railway to private sectors.
Khawaja Saad added that In order to increase the profit ratios government will not give trains on contractual message.
