ISLAMABAD: Even after 100 days or even beyond, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz has failed to appoint chairmen of parliamentary committees in the parliament.
“The real reason behind the non-appointment is ongong war between various leaders of PML-N including some federal ministers,” The News Tribe’s special correspondent has reported.
“The Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and PML-N leader Aftab Sheikh are engaged in the tug of war to have the favourite chairmen,” he further said.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan wants to appoint some of his ‘men’ on the posts.
The result of the war has been worst parliamentary performance of the government since the start of its regime. The usual practice of choosing the chairman for a committee is that members elect a person among themselves, but the cold war between PML-N leaders have put members in paralysis to take any decision.
