SHANGLA: Law enforcement agencies have foiled major terrorism bid on Thursday by recovering 1000 kg explosives from Shangla district of the Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
Security forces claimed for seizing at least 1000 kilogram of explosives which could cause large-scale destruction in the province.
The explosives were recovered from Basham area of Shangla district, while two suspects were also arrested during the forces’ action, police sources said.
The arrested persons have been transferred to undisclosed location for commencing further investigation process.
Moreover, law enforcement agencies have increased security measures in the area.
