KARACHI: Police has launched a crackdown against unregistered and fancy number plats of vehicles in different areas of Karachi on Tuesday, The News Tribe reported.
According to the TNT correspondent, police claimed to have taken action against more than 150 vehicles on roads in Defense area of Karachi.
Police have seized 12 vehicles and took off fancy and unregistered number plates of 55 vehicles.
Additional Inspector General of Karachi Traffic Police, Ghulam Qadir Thebo said that a vehicle of Balochistan’s politician also seized in today’s crackdown.
He said the action was taken against politicians, judges, lawyers, policemen, journalists and other citizens, who were using the unregistered vehicles.
