KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Steel Peoples Workers Union (CBA) Shamshad Qureshi has demanded an immediate release of Aug-Sep 2013 salaries to the PSM employees as per plan of fresh bailout package.
He said that PML(N) government is playing a non- serious role with Pakistan Steel Mills which is the key factor for the declining position of national strategic asset.

Shamshad Qureshi said that Refrendum for CBA is a basic democratic right of each worker, but the present government is delaying the matter using illegal and pressure tactics on NIRC, which is unacceptable.
Chairman PSWU-CBA, Shamshad Qureshi also criticized the PSM privatization statement by the Federal Minister of Industries & Production Mr. Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi on his very first visit to Pakistan Steel last week.
A latest detail hand bill was also released and distributed by Pakistan Steel Peoples workers Union regarding the factual and actual scenario of Pakistan Steel with 4 major demands to the government, i) Referendum in PSM,ii) revival of Pakistan Steel as per plan forwarded by PSM the Board of Directors to overcome raw material shortage iii)Discipline matters and disbursement of Aug, Sep 2013 Salaries before Eid ul Azha.
Pakistan Steel employees has recieved the Salariesof Jun- July this month after the release of 1.5 Billion bailout package against the delayed salaries of PSM employees till Sep 2013.
