LAHORE: More than 80 percent of shops have burnt when a massive fire erupted in Lunda Bazar in Lahore, The News Tribe reported.
According to the details, fire fighters reached the area, situated at Ferozepur road near General Hospital and started rescue operation.
Fire fighters sources said that they were facing lots of problem due to heavy traffic on the roads and huge mob present on the affected site.
Rescue sources said no casualties have been reported yet, except there are some reports that two shopkeepers were injured in the incident. They added the injured were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.
Fire fighters are still trying to control fire since three hours and they said it would take more time to control the situation completely.
More reports are due to come as TNT representative collecting evidences on the location.
