Taipei: After the success of HTC One now company is gearing up to bring another flagship device HTC One Max this year.
The device became highly popular before its release and images have leaked several times.
Once again the device is spotted at Chinese equivalent of the FCC, which indicate that the device will make its appearance soon rather than later.
The rumored HTC One Max has been spotted at the Chinese equivalent of the FCC and the handset may debut on October 15.
“Passing through the Chinese version of the FCC, the HTC One Max has been snapped again, getting ever closer to its release. The handset, naturally, resembles very much the One and One mini in terms of design, but adds that rear animal – a fingerprint scanner – that we are also seeing in Apple’s new iPhone 5s,” reports Phone Arena.
The 6 inch HTC One Max likely to face stiff competition against Sony Xperia Z Ultra, LG G2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which are already available in the market and rumors suggest that Nokia may launch its first Windows Phone 8 (WP8) phablet, the Lumia 1520, on October 22 at an event in Abu Dhabi.
The Phone Arena report also hints that the HTC phablet may launch on October 15.
The HTC One released back in April attracted many customers and the handset is currently the closest competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S4 on the Android front. The company has also revealed a compact version of the handset, the HTC One Mini, which will give stiff competition to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Similarly, the HTC One Max will undoubtedly challenge the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 packs in some of the most powerful hardware specifications found on a phablet. As such, HTC will have to deploy its best so that the HTC One Max is on par with the Galaxy Note 3.
Even though the HTC One Max has appeared in many images, the Taiwanese company has not officially announced its plans to launch the phablet. For now, we have to take all rumors with a pinch of salt and wait until HTC officially confirms the HTC One Max.
