ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has taken notice of delay in relief services for the earthquake victims in several areas of Balochistan province.
PM Nawaz Sharif ordered the authorities for increment in the number of helicopters and C-130 planes in order to deliver relief supplies to the victims.
The federal government confirmed the deaths of 531 people in the restive province of Balochistan with unofficial has already touched deaths up to 100.
The relief activities from federal and provincial governments as well as armed forced have been going on in the quake hit areas.
On Tuesday, Pakistan was rocked with an earthquake of 7.8 magnitude resulting 216 deaths in Awran, 22 in Ketch district whereas 8 died in Turbat.
