KARACHI: Angry Christians staged violent protests across Pakistan against twin suicide bombing in a Church in Peshawar on Sunday, The News Tribe reported.
Christians and members of civil society from different walks of life protested in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad and other cities including Multan, Lahore, Peshawar, Firozabad, Rawalpindi, Bhakar and Karachi against the killing of Christians in two suicide attacks in Peshawar Church.
Protesters at Esa Nagri in Karachi blocked the roads and they torched tyres to block the roads. There were reports of clashes between protesters and law enforcement agencies at the scene.
Police claimed to have arrested many miscreants as they were responsible for breaking the law.
Protesters holding placards, pamphlets and shouting slogans against government officials and also against the terrorists involved in Peshawar attacks. Protesters were demanding Immediate arrest of people, who involved in the Peshawar Church blast.
According to details, at least 75 people, including, a large number of children and women were killed and more than 130 injured in the twin suicide blasts in a church of Peshawar on Sunday morning.
