KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (Sindh) leader Sardar Mumtaz Bhutto said that the situation in the metropolis of Pakistan can only be cured with strict actions like Governor Rule.
PML-N Sindh’s leader Sardar Mumtaz Bhutto claimed that the decision of targeted operation is by the federal rather than the Sind govt. The 6 year controversial tenure of Pakistan People’s Party has given nothing except 24,000 innocent people being killed mercilessly due to target killing.
In order to bring down the ratio of violence, strict actions such as Governor Rule can be the only option. If the government fails again in carrying out operations such as 1992 and 96 operations, then it will result in rise of criminals in a short span of time.
Mumtaz Bhutto claimed that Sindh cannot be divided into a separate province. Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) always deals with new government and leaves its allies high and dry. However, in 11th May elections PPP came back in power in the province and MQM is finding it hard to deal with the problem in dealing with situation. As long as the current government remains in power, the feudal mindset won’t leave.
