TANDO ILLAH YAR: Daugher of leaving president Asif Ali Zardari, Asifa Zardari Bhutto, says that she has got her vote registered on directives of his elder brother.
“Bilawal Zardari is my brother and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman. On his directive I have got my vote registered,” she said in a statement.
Twenty-one years old Asifa, who is considered as the second Benazir Bhutto for his active social and political avatar, says that PPP has deep roots in masses.
“We would keep this ties and close relationship with the masses,” she further said.
The statement from her could be an indicator of a major shift in party’s strategy to bring people closer.
Daughter of slain Party leader Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari, Asifa has registered her vote recently.
She also said that no one can make difference between people and Pakistan People’s Party.
According to TheNewsTribe’s correspondent from Islamabad, there were earlier reports in Pakistani media that Asifa Bhutto Zardari can be the next move of PPP to bring party closer with the people.
Although Peoples Party is the ruling group in Pakistan’s southern province Sindh but it has lost a lot in other provinces including national assembly during May 11 general election.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari is the youngest daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari.
Ruling parties in Pakistan have very strong believe on family politics that’s why they prefer to bring new generation in main stream politics with family elders.
