Washington: As American giant Apple gearing up to launch fifth version of its flagship device likely iPad 5, South Korean technological giant Samsung prepare to introduce another flagship tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 this year.
Apple haven’t introduce any of its devices yet this year but, company announced to unveil its first device likely iPhone 5S this month.
On the other hand Samsung enjoying the success of its flagship device Samsung Galaxy S4 and also announced to introduce third generation phablet Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on 4th of September.
Apple have the upper hand in the tablet market but Samsung is not way far behind.
Korean company is dominating the smartphone market and also cementing their place in small size tablet market.
Now both companies are setting up to capture tablet market.
Specs of iPad 5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2, however, seem to be really interesting:
The user in the market demands faster device. Apple keeping in view the demands of users is working on Quad Core A7 chip. The chip will allow the users to play games swiftly and they can perform tasks within no time.
On the other hand Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 will be powered by an Exynos 5 Octa processor.
Screen plays a vital role in the success of the tablet gadgets. iPad 5 is expected to have a 9.7 inch screen. The users is always in search of clear display, so Apple is likely to use its Retina Display for iPad 5 which allows the user to see the individual pixel when used at a normal distance.
Samsung Galaxy Note will have a slight big 12.2-inch screen with 2560 x 1600 display resolution.
The storage capacity of new iPad 5 will be 16/32/64 and 128 GB which will allow the users to store data as much he likes. Galaxy Note may be available with 64 GB storage capacity with microSD card slot.
Apple iPad will 5 be coming with the updated operating system iOS 7. Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 will run on the latest Android likely Android Jelly Bean 4.3.
As far as release date is concerned, both devices will be coming in the fourth quarter of this year.
