Karachi: Sindh government has asked federal to provide Rs. 10 billion for installation of latest technology equipments and increasing the quantity of security forces in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
The Government of Sindh has urged Nawaz Government that the province is facing crises because of recent floods. They said that they will utilise all the resources to ensure the safety and security of the citizens and soon will reap results.
On Friday, during the law and order implementation case, advocate General Sindh, Barrister Khalid Javed Khan submitted a report by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah in Supreme Court Karachi registry. The report stated that the province is currently faced with floods.
In order to combat terrorist activities in the metropolitan city, the federal government must issue Rs. 10 billion. It is also requested to them that they must improve exchange of information between the departments under them.
In light of orders of the court, IG Sindh is ordered to appoint one S.H.O for a minimum period of 6 months. In the reports, the provincial government ensured Supreme Court (SC) that all the resources will be utilised to ensure safety and security.
Soon the SC will come to know about the results.The report also included that the provincial government has been given heavy mandate by the people of Pakistan that shows their commitment towards Sindh government.
Furthermore, it is also appealed in the same report that modern technology and surveillance system must be introduced in order to bring down kidnapping for ransom. In order to cut down the criminal activities FIA, PTA, NADRA, NARA and others must be activated.
