ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s political parties have submitted asset details to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on last day of submission ended up on yesterday.
ECP had declared earlier that election symbols will be issued to those political parties for next election who submit their asset details.
However, ECP sources said that only 48 registered political parties have submitted the details while 182 were failed to provide their particulars.
The political parties submitted their particulars as per orders of ECP include Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Pakistan People’s Party (PPP)‚ Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Awami National Party (ANP).
But those parties who flunked in following orders of ECP include Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML).
