Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that he will remain with the victims of the floods until they go back to their homes.
Shahbaz Sharif said that he won’t sit at home and won’t sit at home and won’t let others in the cabinet to sit either. Talking to media at Islamabad Airport, he said that he won’t tolerate negligence from anybody in his team.
Chief Minister Punjab further said that Imran Khan’s defected team comprises of novice people who don’t know how to provide relief to the people. By-elections will expose the fake agenda of PTI and they will know where they stand on August 22. Those who are dreaming to create “New Pakistan” must first see what they have delivered thus far.
Afterwards, he visited Chiniot district to check on safety passage at Harsa Sheikh and also said that relief utensils, rashan, tents, medicines, mineral water and blankets on priority basis. Thorough survey has been carried out to provide relief to the affectees.
DCO Chiniot said that 9 relief teams have been working in the district and almost nothing has been spared in order to provide relief to the flood victims. Shahbaz Sharif also met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and explained the relief process provided to the victims.
Nevertheless, according to the women stuck in the flood said that nothing has been done thus far to provide us the aid. They earlier protested before the arrival of CM Punjab and Police opted for Lathi charge against them.
