LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced the restoration of five stops of the trains on Tuesday under stop-restoration programme on the directives of Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) belonged federal minister ordered to restore five stops in the Punjab province to facilitate the passengers related to the specific cities including Gujjar Khan, Mian Channu, Khanewal, Abdul Hakim and Farooqabad.
According to PR spokesman, Awam Express will now make its stop at Gujjar Khan which runs from Rawalpindi to Karachi via Lahore.
Tezgam Express, bounded from Rawalpindi to Karachi will stop at Mian Channu. Karachi Express, bounded from Lahore to Karachi, at Khanewal, Millat Express, bounded Sargodha-Karachi train at Abdul Hakim and Badar Express, Lahore-Faisalabad train at Farooqabad.
