ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has made another attempt to get a prominent position in federal government by meeting Pakistan’s finance minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Fazl-ur-Rehman has met the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)’s belonged finance minister in Islamabad while Ahsan Iqbal and Akram Durrani was also present on the event.
During the meeting, the leaders from both sides had discussed the modalities for JUI-F’s joining in central government and different political situations of Pakistan.
While talking the media after the completion of meeting, JUI-F chief said that both parties have agreed on priorities and his party is likely to be added in federal cabinet soon.
Fazl ur Rehman has supported the initiation of talks with Taliban while answering to a media man after the meeting.
