JAMSHORO: At least 12 persons were killed including eight of same family while 4 others injured on Sunday in a bus accident on Indus Highway of Sindh province of Pakistan.
The incident took place near Thatta district when the passenger bus was taking back the attendants of Lal Shahbaz Qalander Urs ceremony held at Sehwan city.
However, the bus had gone out of control due to over speeding and collided head on with a car which claimed lives of 12 passengers including 2 women and 6 children.
The dead bodies were shifted to nearly situated Liaquat Medical Hospital Jamshoro as locals reached the incident site.
According to police, competition had been continued between two passenger buses to compete with each other to take the lead, meanwhile the bus rammed in a car coming from opposite direction.
Police officials added that the deceased family was moving back towards his home through Hyderabad after attending the Urs ceremony meanwhile the accident took place, while one person belongs to Lahore.
