LAHORE: Surviving his life in a robbery attempt in provincial capital of Lahore, former Advocate General Ashtar Ausaf faced an attack from robbers while saving a lady who even fired on him leaving his car glass into pieces.
According to Lahore police, the incident took place at Garden Twon area of the city where armed robbers were snatching good of a woman. In the same time, Ashtar passed through the place with his squad.
After watching the whole scene, former AG asked his squad to save the women from being looted. Following his orders, gunmen of Ashtar made aerial firing triggering direct firing from the robbers.
The police officials further said that no injury was reported in the incident.
Update: Culprit caught
According to police officials, they have caught a culprit involved in firing on Ashtar. The culprit is said to be involved in dozens of cases of kidnapping and robberies.
