LAHORE: Trying to do his best to keep up his promises before coming to the power, Shahbaz Sharif says his government has been trying to generate electricity through LNG.
Chief Minister of eastern province of Punjab was of the view that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government was making sincere efforts to resolve energy crisis.
“The government is trying to generate electricity through Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and other sources,” he said while addressing a ceremony this morning.
The country’s demand and supply gap of power has been increasing as the duration of power outages has stretched up to 15 hours even in big cities.
Shahbaz said terming load-shedding as the topmost problem of the country reiterated his opinion that PML-N government was sincere in its efforts to end this crisis.
