ISLAMABAD: Pakistan achieved another landmark in education as Seven Pakistani universities have been included in Asia’s top 250 universities.
Correspondent of TheNewsTribe, the largest independent and bilingual news website in Pakistan confirmed the news and added that “three universities are in top 200”.
Higher Education Commission chairmen Javed Laghari appreciated the success and said “the better we deliver in universities the better we can achieve as a nation”.
Quid-e-Azam University Islamabad (QAU) tops the chart with 119th position among Top Asian Universities. QAU has been ranked number 1 throughout Pakistan by higher education commission (HEC).
National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Karachi University (KU), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Punjab University (PU), Agha Khan University (AKU), University of Technology Lahore (UoTL) are other top Pakistani universities.
