Berlin: Search Engine giant Google celebrates Julius Richard Petri’s 161 birth day by presenting an animated Doodle on its home page.
Julius Petri was a German bacteriologist who was credited of investigating the Petri dish working as an assistant of Robert Koch.
He was born on 31st May 1852, He first studied medicine at the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Academy for Military Physicians (1871–1875) and received his medical degree in 1876.
Google presented a doodle in his honor of his 161st birth day. The doodle includes the Petri dishes showed smelly socks, a door knob, a computer keyboard, a drooling dog, a plant in the rain, and a dish being washed.
Google repeats its trend and give honorable persons attribute with its doodle.
