Islamabad: Putting aside all reservation of critics over Blasphemy Law in the country, Islamic Ideological Council says there is no need of amendment in the law.
According to the sources, the council members believe that law is fine to deal with the cases.
Islamic Ideological Council (IIC) is the elite body to regulate religious influence over the law in a country where majority of people favour implementation of religious values,
In a meeting with Maulana Khan Muhammad Shirani in chair, the council also observe that human cloning couldn’t be allowed.
In the same meeting, the council members observe that DNA can’t be accepted as evidence in legal affairs.
“It should be an additional evidence and not as the fundamental evidence,” he further said.
