Karachi: Following a patch up between Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), duration of power outages have been decreased to normal level.
According to officials of governor house of Sindh, officials of both the companies have been summoned by Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s affiliated Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan to resolve the increasing duratin of load-shedding in the metropolis.
After the intervention of the governor, both of the companies agreed to work together to reduce power outages in the port city of the country.
SSGCL had stopped supply of natural gas to KESC following non-payment of around Rs. 47 billion arrears on the latter.
