ISLAMABAD: Oath taking ceremony of the newly elected members national assembly of Pakistan will be held on June 1 while Prime Minister will be selected on June 5.
According to Daily Jang, the date of oath taking occasion has been finalised by the higher authorities while the summary to call members’ session will probably be sent today to the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
The sources confirmed that all new elected National Assembly members will take oath for coming government while the submission of nomination papers of speaker and deputy speaker of the assemblies will be commenced on June 2.
Election for the speaker and deputy speaker will be held on June 3 while June 4 is scheduled to submit the Prime Minister’s nomination papers as June 5 is day to select Prime Minister of Pakistan.
