ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Syed Munawar Hasan has announced to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the formation of provincial setup in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
According to local media, JI chief said that PTI has constitutional and moral right to form their provincial government in KPK as it has taken majority seats.
He said that JI will warmly welcome PTI officials if they contact them in this regard.
It must be noticed that PTI is emerged as the biggest elected political party while Jamiat Ulema Islam Fazal (JUI-F) is the second major elected party in KPK province.
Moreover, JUI-F has taken 9 seats in KPK’s provincial assembly while PTI has won over 34 provincial seats.
