ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has taken back its notification for the closure of mobile services across the Sindh Province.
In previous some minutes, PTA announced to shut down mobile across the Sindh Province in a bid to keep peace in the province during election.
According to previous announcement, mobile service has to be closed in Sindh from 7 pm on May 10 continue till May 11’s 5 pm.
Shutting down of cell phone service is tactic which was started by former Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik, who used to claim that it helps law enforcement agencies in keeping the peace.
