SIALKOT: Indian soldiers made Pakistani personnel and villages a target of unprovoked firing at the border, here on Tuesday.
Pakistan Rangers confirmed the incident, saying Border Security Force (BSF) of the neighboring country fired mortar shells, which fell in the nearing Tanda village.
The incident took place near the Samba sector, and was reacted prompted by Chanab Rangers promptly. However, Pakistani personnel avoided firing at nearing village.
It may be mentioned here that the firing is a routine incident, often sparked by Indian forces. Last year, India had claimed killing of its soldier after Pakistan reacted to unprovoked firing.
Later, a Pakistani personnel was martyred as BSF opened indiscriminate firing at him at the border.
