Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik and Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh chapter chief Shahi Syed on Tuesday visited the headquarters of Mutahida Qaumi Movement, 90, in Karachi.
The two leaders were warmly welcomed by MQM Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar and other members of the party’s coordination committee.
Several MQM activists were also present on the occasion and chanted slogans against the terrorism.
The parties have been the victims of terrorist attacks in Karachi ahead of the forthcoming general elections scheduled for May 11.
In a joint news conference on Monday, leaders from the MQM, PPP and ANP announced that despite the string of attacks on their offices and candidates they would participate in the upcoming polls.
