LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain on Friday urged Pakistanis to stop extremist forces from imposing Jihadist mindset across the country.
Addressing the party activists of central Punjab, the MQM chief said that Jihadist and their sympathizers were allowed to freely participate in the elections but the liberal forces are not allowed to freely run their campaign.
“Moderate politicians, lawyers, educationists and people of Punjab should come out to save the country,” he said adding that the campaign was running freely in Punjab only.
Mr. Hussain said that three provinces of the country are deprived off their constitution and democratic right adding that what would happen if the small provinces would raise the slogan of separation?
He further added that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and caretaker government wil be responsible for the separatist slogan.
He further demanded the responsible authorities to investigate caretaker government and law enforcement forces over their failure to cope up with the situation.
