ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police has asked the chief commissioner to declare the house of former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf a sub jail.
The farmhouse, C1, is located in Chak Shehzad of the federal capital. The law enforcement agency seeks response from the higher authority before 5pm, the deadline to materialize the request.
It maybe mentioned here that the former army chief has currently been kept at the headquarters of Islamabad Police.
Meanwhile, about 60-yard wall guarding the house of Gen (retd) Musharraf has fallen because of the recent rains in the capital.
The administration has initiated reconstruction work on the farmhouse to avert security threats to the former army chief.
