Islamabad: A Pakistani student from Pak-Turk School Lahore, Alvaz Adnan has won silver medal in 7th International Environmental Project Olympiad (INEPO-Euroasia) organised in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Students of 47 countries took part in the prestigious event in which at least 123 environmental projects were exhibited.
Adnan won the silver medal on presenting his project in the subject of biology on topic “‘Pre-treatment of Bread mould to remove Azodyes from effluent of Factories”
Commenting on the success, Chairman Pak-Turk Unal Tosur and Director Education Kamil Ture said that Pakistani students have been leaving others behind in almost all the international competitions which has encouraged us to boost investment in the future of Pakistan.
The event organized once a year which aims to provide opportunities to students around the world to exhibit the solutions for environmental issues, protection of nature and to raise awareness on flora and fauna issues.
The international event was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev.
