RAWALPINDI: Rescue and relief operation continues in the earthquake affected areas of Pakistan Southern province Balochistan by Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps troops.
According to the official press release of ISPR, PAkistan army’s media wing “So far 23 wounded persons have been evacuated from Mashakhel to Quetta and Dalbandin by Army helicopters.”
“2800 Kgs of food items and 1200 Kgs medicine, 300 blankets and 80 tents have been distributed among the afectees so far.”
A Field Medical facility comprising 8 Doctors and 15 Para Medics are providing medical treatment to injured in Mashakhel. It is worth mentioning here that 550 troops of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps personnel are undertaking rescue operation in earthquake affected areas since 16 April 13.
