CHARSADA: At least four people including Awami National Party (ANP) Leader Syed Masoom Shah were injured in blast near the party’s convoy in Shabqadar Tehsil of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtonkhwa province.
It was a second attack on ANP leader in a day as earlier Mukarram Shah, another leader and electoral candidate, was killed in a remote controlled bomb in Swat valley of the province.
Police said that Masoom Shah, the ANP candidate for PK021, among four others were injured when explosive hidden in a garbage dumb exploded when the convoy of the leader was passing through it.
They said that Shah was being moved to Peshawar, the provincial capital, for treatment.
The leader is said to be out of danger.
