Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday said that a cyber attack on its website from unidentified men was foiled, securing the data from going into wrong hands.
The commission said that secure system of the website prevented attackers from accessing sensitive information of the website.
“Our IT experts have designed such a system that it was difficult for someone to breach the security line,” the commission said in a statement. It further added that the data on the website was not stolen.
