Washington: The United States has expressed its desire for a timely, independent and transparent elections in Pakistan, spokeswoman of the US Department of State said.
Victoria Nuland has said that they are expecting on-time and transparent elections, through which government will be transferred in democratic way for the first time in Pakistan.
The American spokeswoman declared the United Nations’ report on US drone attacks as only a ‘press release’, and refused to comment over the secret information.
Josh Earnest, the White House’s special assistant to the president has also confirmed the report regarding US drone attacks. However, he called it as ‘intelligence operation’ and refused to comment over it.
Victoria Nuland has authenticated the dialogue between Washington and Islamabad for the upcoming elections and in future it will be continued.
Previously, in a press meeting, Nuland has refused that Americans are providing support for the upcoming elections in Pakistan.
