Karachi: An investigation officer of Pakistan Navy (PN) in Mehran base attack case died of wounds he received in February 27 attack in Karachi, his family said on Monday.
Lieutenant Commander Azeem Haider, the PN officer, received gunshot wounds when unidentified men attacked his car at Gate 15 of Karachi Port on February 27 morning.
He received four bullets in the attack and was immediately shifted to the PNS Shifa hospital. He remained on ventilator in the hospital since then.
The officer’s funeral prayer would be offered after Zohar prayer.
