Karachi: Nine people, including a cleric of Binori Town, were killed in the last few hours during different incidents across Karachi, Pakistan’s biggest city and capital of the southern Sindh Province.
Unknown assailants shot dead Binori Town’s Qari Ghulam Sarwar. Another person, Iqbal, was killed near Al-Noor Society in Sharifabad area.
Police found two gunny bodies in Memon Goth area of Malir and near Safoora Chowrangi.
Unidentified armed attackers opened fire in Gulshan-e-Ghazi area of Baldia Town, killing a taxi passenger, Zahid Mehmood.
A person died and another injured due to firing near a parking plaza of Saddar town.
At least three more targeted killings were reported in Paposh Nagar, Do Minute Chowrangi and Saudabad.
