Tehran: Iran’s envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Ali Asghar Soltanieh said on Wednesday Tehran and the UN nuclear watchdog were in agreement on “some points” during talks in the country’s capital.
He said Iran would again hold meeting with the IAEA, but he did not give a specific date.
Both sides have been trying to finalise a deal that would allow the IAEA to restart an investigation into Tehran’s atomic activities, Reuters reported.
“In addition to removing some differences and agreeing on some points in the text…the two sides decided to review and exchange views about the new proposals that were given in this meeting, in the next meeting,” he said, according to the Iran’s Fars News Agency report.
