Rahim Yar Khan: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Monday during his address in Rahim Yar Khan strongly criticised the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government for poor performance.
Nawaz said that the PPP government enjoyed a full term but did nothing for the masses.
He said that if the President Asif Ali Zardari spent one hour daily listening to the problems of the people, situation would have been much better.
Nawaz further said that PPP came into elections with the motto of basic necessities ‘Roti, Kapra or Makan’ but delivered none.
“We rose voices for the formation of the Bahwalpur province first but now PPP is manipulating the issue for political gain,” he said.
The dilemma of Sindh was that people were never heard. People were dying and no one in the government seemed to be bothered, he added.
If I will be elected, I will work hard to change the fate of the country and will never compromise on national interest, said Nawaz.
