Karachi: The residents of Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, are facing unannounced load shedding in their areas during the late hours on Saturday.
According to reports, the areas hit by the load shedding include Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Azizabad, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Gulberg, Maripur, Jacob Line, North Karachi, Karimabad, Moosa Colony, Liaquatabad and Jamshed Quarters.
According to Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC), the breakdown occurred due to a technical fault and the company’s staff was working to solve the problem as soon as possible.
The administration further said that the electricity has been restored in North Nazimabad and North Karachi and soon it would be restored in all the affected parts of the city.
