Wana: The US drone strikes which killed at least seven people in South Waziristan on Friday (today) include two senior commanders of al Qaeda.
According to sources in the tribal areas of Pakistan, the deceased al-Qaeda leaders include Abu Majid al Iraqi and Sheikh Abu Waqas belonging from Yemen.
“Abu Waqas, 35 was a bomb expert and was involved in the high profile attacks on US and Isaf forces,” they said adding that four other Uzbek militants were also killed in the attack.
