Peshawar: Supply to Nato forces via Pakistan’s Khyber Agency could not be resumed despite passage of one month as the ongoing talks between Nato transporters and supplier companies have failed on Friday.
The supply via Torkham and Chaman border to Afghanistan has been suspended since Jan 1.
Israr Shunwari, a spokesman for All Pakistan Goods Transporters Union, urged the owners of supplier companies to provide insurance cover to the transporters and their containers and double the fare.
He said that owners of the supplier companies were not ready to accept their demands due to which the supply has not been restored since Jan 1.
He said that the talks being held in Khyber Agency between Nato transporters and supplier companies have failed.
