Lahore: The 2012 IBSF World Champion Muhammad Asif on Thursday defeated Kritsanut Lertsattayathon of Thailand 4-0 to qualify for quarter-final of Sangsom Mukdahan Cup being held at River City Hotel in Mukdahan.
Earlier, the 2012 IBSF snooker champion showed his class in the very first outing by whipping Thailand’s Bundit Kiewsuthi in straight frames with the scores of 67-44, 68-66, 128-0, 70-17.
Asif was invited by the Billiard Sports Association of Thailand (BSAT) to participate in the event as a wild card entrant.
The losing quarter-finalists will be getting Baht 20,000 while the losing semi-finalists will be receiving Baht 30,000 each.
The runner-up will be presented a reward of Baht 50,000 with the champion to get the jackpot of Baht 100,000.
