Islamabad: A recent Gallup survey has revealed that inflation remains on top as the most important problem of Pakistan.
In a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “In your opinion, what is the current biggest problem of Pakistan?”
Responding to this, 47 per cent believe that inflation is the biggest problem, 24 per cent believe it to be terrorism, 18 per cent think unemployment is the biggest problem, 6 per cent foreign threats, 2 per cent cite others and 1 per cent said Kashmir. However, 2 per cent did not give a view.
The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2642 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during January 06, 2013 – January 11, 2013.
